 ‘Two Sisters’ by Caroline Harding

The director, Sam Gaffney, who directed the well received “Gods of Carnage” at the Village Hall at the beginning of this year, writes:

Well buried secrets are reluctantly revealing in this thrilling and engaging black comedy. The play takes place in a small village in 1880s Russia. Sisters, Anya and Sonia spend an evening together where these secrets and tales of the past come back to haunt their fragile relationship. Everything is not what it seems between these two sisters. A story of love, skulduggery and sisterly bonds. The catalyst that sets everything in motion – an empty coffin found in Anya’s house
