Film Club presents ‘Blues Brothers’ – Thursday 18th December

Blues Brothers is a 1980 American cult musical action comedy film, starring John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd and directed by John Landis. Set in and around Chicago, where it was filmed, the film features musical numbers by singers James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker. It’s a story of redemption for Jake Blues, a blues vocalist and petty criminal who is paroled from prison.
